Dundee Candle Works is delighted to have a new charitable partner: Scottish Women's Aid.
Scottish Women's Aid is Scotland's leading charity working to end domestic abuse against women and children.
For every product you purchase online or in-store, £1 will be donated to Scottish Women's Aid, which will support their efforts to prevent domestic abuse.
Scottish Women’s Aid plays a vital role in coordinating, influencing and campaigning for effective responses to domestic abuse and supports a network of 33 local Scottish Women's Aid groups that offer direct assistance to those affected by domestic abuse.
‘We chose Scottish Women's Aid because I saw the real need for support for women and children affected by domestic abuse through connecting with those affected through my past work in the medical field. We are also passionate about supporting a charity that is Scottish and connected to Dundee; a percentage of donations will be used directly in the local community. Our products are designed to create a beautiful home, but we recognise that there are women and children in Scotland who don't feel safe in theirs. This initiative aims to help change that.’ - Katie
